KAOKO - KUNENE - OVAHIMBA ADVENTURE Duration: 12 days Depart from Swakopmund and travel along the Atlantic Coastline (Skeleton Coast), through the Namib Desert to central Damaraland and Kaokoland. Visit the spectacular Epupa Falls. Nights are spent camping under starry skies nearby the native Ovahimba villages in fascinating landscapes. Enjoy the kaleidoscope of diversity in the remote Marienfluß and Hartmann's Valley. On your return journey you will camp in the Hoanib River, where the desert elephant can be sighted. On the last day, stopover at the rock engravings and Burnt Mountain at Twyfelfontein before returning to Swakopmund. KAOKO - OVAHIMBA EXPERIENCE Duration: 8 days The safari begins in Swakopmund, traveling along the Atlantic coastline (Skeleton Coast), then through the Namib Desert to the Damaraland. The next days are spent camping in the wilderness. Enjoy the overwhelming landscapes of the Marienfluss, let yourself be enchanted by the Ovahimba tribes as well as herds of game, such as oryx, springbok, giraffe and the desert elephant. We travel back to Swakopmund via the rock engravings and Burnt Mountain at Twyfelfontein. Experience ideal game sightings, fascinating mountain and desert landscapes. With a visit to the Burnt Mountain and the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein we return to Swakopmund. EXCITING DAMARALAND Duration: 6 days Travel from Swakopmund along the Atlantic Coastline (Skeleton Coast), view the Welwitschia fields and enter the unspoilt canyons of the Ugab and Huab River. Good chances of sighting the desert elephant and black rhino. We spend three nights camping and the following nights at the rustic Palmwag Lodge in Damaraland. An early morning departure takes us back to Swakopmund via Twyfelfontein to visit the rock engravings and the Burnt Mountain. EPUPA – PLACE OF ENCHANTING WATER Duration: 4 days The tour starts at a lodge in the Damaraland, traveling into the Kaokoland to several Ovahimba villages and to the amazing Epupa Falls on the mighty Kunene River. Spend the nights camping on the banks of the Kunene River. Nature walks to explore the vicinity of the falls. The last day takes us back to your lodge via Fort Sesfontein and surrounding areas. MORO-MORO SAFARI Duration: 3 days Travel from a lodge in Damaraland via Sesfontein Pass to Kaoko Otavi and on towards the Hoarusib River. Spend two nights camping under marvelous starry skies. Experience the traditions and way of life of the Ovahimba people and go in search of the desert elephant along the banks of the Hoarusib River. The return journey takes us via Fort Sesfontein and its surrounding highlights to your lodge. OVAHIMBA RENDEZVOUS Duration: 5 days Depart from a lodge in Damaraland via Sesfontein Pass to central Kaokoland. Experience the Ovahimba nomads living in the area. Spend the nights camping under Namibia's starry skies. Possible encounters with the famous desert elephant in the Hoarusib and Hoanib River. After these highlights, the journey takes us back via Fort Sesfontein and surrounding area. NAMIB DESERT EXCURSION Duration: 2 days Travel from Swakopmund along the coast to the seal colony at Cape Cross and then on to Omdeldam. At the Spitzkoppe, participate in climbing and walking excursions and enjoy a typical Namibian sundowner at your campsite. Overnight under Namibia’s starry skies. Return to Swakopmund via the Welwitschia Plains and the bizarre Moon landscape of the Namib Desert. SESRIEM - SOSSUVLEI SAFARI Duration: 3 days Starting in Swakopmund, travel through the Namib Naukluft Park, past the “Blutkuppe” to the Kuiseb Canyon. We camp over night at the Sesriem campsite. Experience unforgettable sunrises at Sossusvlei, amazing colour kaleidoscopes, the ghostly looking Dead Vlei and a nature walk in the Sesriem Canyon to round off your day. KAUDOM - CAPRIVI TOUR Duration: 10 days From Windhoek we travel via Waterberg into the formerly known Bushmanland. Spend a day with the San. We continue to explore the untouched game of the Kaudom Game Reserve, visit the Popa rapids, as well as the water-rich area of the Caprivi/ Kwando. Fantastic game and bird watching in Bwabata Game Park. The return journey takes us via Rundu, the Okavango, back to Windhoek.
