Whether it be viewing game from the decks, fishing the deep waters or just relaxing in the sun on the top deck, houseboat safaris offer you a new way of falling in love with Africa.
 


LAKE KARIBA HOUSEBOATS
We have a selection of cruiser or mono-hulled boats and pontoon vessels to suit all budgets and tastes. The cruiser houseboats are generally faster, and in most cases carry fewer people than the pontoon houseboats.

Binga harbour is located on the Victoria Falls (western) side of Lake Kariba, and is far from the maddening crowd, making it a perfect place to unwind and relax. The fishing is very good on this side of Lake Kariba and the best tiger fishing is at Sengwe River, a mere day’s cruise from Binga. The Dam wall side of Kariba Dam is located about 5 hours from Harare by tarred road.

 
 

CATALINA HOUSEBOAT
Catalina is a luxurious catamaran houseboat with a swimming pool, berthed at Binga on the Victoria Falls side of Lake Kariba

Lady Jacqueline is a beautiful 60ft cruiser offering the uncomplicated comforts that make for a relaxed, yet luxurious cruise
Lady J has cabin capacity for 10 passengers but can accommodate a maximum of 15 passengers

Meremaid is a large, fully air-conditioned pontoon-style houseboat with an open-air Jacuzzi and luxurious interior

Stack beds on the top deck accommodate an extra four passengers, with cabin capacity for another 10 passengers on a lower deck

The Concorde is one of the most luxurious cruiser houseboats on the waters of Lake Kariba, moored at Marineland Harbour

The Concorde accommodates 14 passengers in cabins with informal bedding for up to 8 additional passengers
